Quick answers

League FAQ

The short version of the most common questions. Where an answer affects competitive integrity, the full rules remain authoritative.

Do I need to register?

Yes. Every player must register through TopDeck and pay the €15 entry fee. Private payment arrangements are available by contacting the organiser.

Do I submit a decklist or register a commander?

No. You may change decks and commanders between games, provided the deck is legal when its game begins.

Can we play online?

Yes. In-person, webcam, and mutually accepted digital-platform games are eligible.

Are partners and five-colour commanders allowed?

Yes. Normal Commander mechanics and colour-identity rules apply unless a specific card appears on the league ban list.

Are proxies allowed?

Yes. Proxies are permitted.

Can games be played through Moxfield?

Yes, provided every participating player agrees before the game begins.

How many warnings lead to disqualification?

A player may receive up to two warnings. A third offence means disqualification. Serious misconduct may result in immediate disqualification.

Are games timed?

League games are untimed but must proceed reasonably. Semifinals have a three-hour maximum. The final is ordinarily untimed.

Where will the finals happen?

The intention is to hold semifinals and the final in person. The venue, date, feasibility, and alternatives will be announced later.
