Elimination stage
Earn the cut. Then survive the pod.
League standings determine qualification. Semifinal pods and all seating orders are random, not seeded by league position.
First and second receive byes; ranks 3–10 form two random semifinals.
2 byes2 pods→Final
The four qualifying players advance directly.
Top 4→Final
Randomised
League position qualifies players but does not seed semifinal pods or seating. The Top 10 byes are the only standings-based elimination advantage.
Three-hour safeguard
A 15-minute warning is given. If time expires without a winner, the game is a draw and the player with the highest league-point total advances.
Untimed
The final is untimed unless unreasonable delay forces the Tournament Organiser to impose pace-of-play measures.

We’re aiming for an in-person finish.
The semifinals and final are planned for early 2027. Feasibility, venue, exact dates, and alternative arrangements will be confirmed later.
